Gujarat panchayat lab technician and electrical engineer results: 624 on verification lists for 308 posts

The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) has declared provisional results for two Class III recruitments held in July. On 15 October 2026 it also published the provisional merit list cum document-verification list for each. Together the two lists hold 624 candidates for 308 posts.

Both papers carry 200 marks: 100 for general awareness, Gujarati, English and reasoning, and 100 for the technical subject. The minimum qualifying standard for every candidate is 40%.

The 108 Laboratory Technician posts split as 40 general, 5 EWS, 40 SEBC, 8 SC and 15 ST. Eleven of them are reserved for candidates with disabilities and 3 for ex-servicemen.

Additional Assistant Engineer (Electrical): the board printed separate cut-offs for men and women in some categories.

What being on the list means

The board stresses that a name on the list is not a selection. The list was drawn up from exam marks and from what candidates declared in their online forms. Originals will be checked against both. If a certificate does not support the category, disability, sports or widow marks you claimed, you can be disqualified or lose the extra marks. The board will then hold online district allocation and publish a final select list with district allotments.

What to do now

1. Check your marks: log in with your advertisement number, OJAS confirmation number, date of birth and an OTP on the board’s result link. It stays open from 9 pm on 15 October to 11:55 pm on 4 November 2026. Save a printout.
2. If your number is on the verification list, start collecting originals now: degree or diploma, caste or EWS certificate, disability certificate and any sports certificates.
3. Watch gpssb.gujarat.gov.in for the verification notice. If you do not upload or present your documents in the window it sets, the board will mark you disqualified.
