It is situated at very quite place. | Academics: At present I am ding masters with MTech in computer science and engineering because I love to code problems and find the solution of it. Faculties and experienced and well trained. Curriculum is also updated. Overall academics is good. | Placements: Quality of placements is good. More than 60% students got placed in 2022. There are some new companies are coming and also there are many MNCs that came to college. Average offered package was 5 lpa and highest package was 20 lpa.

The facility of the meal is also quite good and offers us a wide range of meals for carbohydrate, protein, and vitamin intake, which is very crucial for health. | Academics: rate the course curriculum very well. Because these courses have a real importance in life,. Courses like entrepreneurship and communication skills will help you crack interviews and deals in the future. There must be interest made in subjects by teachers so that students can have an interest in subjects so that it will help in future opportunities. Subjects must be chosen precisely so that students have a deep knowledge of the subject. | Placements: The placements at our college are quite good, which is the best thing about our college. Many repeat companies visited our college, like Wipro and many international companies. Last year, the highest package of electrical branch the student had was 2 CPA. The average package for the mechanical department is 8 to 10 LPA, and the highest may be 27 to 30 LPA. In all departments, the percentage of students getting placements is 90 to 95 percent.

Even small clubs which are branch-wise to hold up things every month for the student. | Academics: Concepts are made clear by the faculties, by giving proper knowledge and numerical to understand them. All of the faculties are friendly if student has eagerness to learn new things. And student should stay focused during the class to understand the concept more clearer. | Placements: Percentage is above 95% overall of the college and 90% above for each branches. Each year companies are coming for the placement by providing maximum package of 14lakhs to average package of 6lakhs. Companies like Infosys, Microsoft, are coming every year. | Value for Money: It depends upon the family income annually. People with less income can avail for the compensation set by the govt. of India and national institute has its own category wise compensation too. | Campus Life: Like I said, it doesn’t have its own campus but it has all of the facilities needed for the institute with the best support of the director for any other activities required for the student. | Others: As the place is in Goa, during weekends college peeps plan to go out with their friends to enjoy the beauty of Goa. They try to make students industry-ready. Semester exams have a difficult level. Previously, it had 30% criteria from the 2nd semester; now it has been removed, but 75% attendance criteria. | Placements: 20% to 40% of students were placed, and the highest and lowest packages were INR 12 lac/annum and INR 7 lac/annum, respectively. The average package is INR 10 lacs per year. Some students get internships in different fields during the course duration.

The teachers guide you for the four years to make to ready for the job through lots of training programmes.This college is very good in respect to the quality of education imparted and also the campus placement. | Placements: PLACEMENT WING Companies like WIPRO,TCS,SAP,INFOSYS,ACCENTURE,IGATE,CTS, IBM and much more does campus placement. WIPRO offers 2-3 lac per annum for starters. TCS also hold a good offer to the students with a package of approx 3-4 lac per annum. | Value for Money: . The highest package in EEE dep is around 20 lakhs per annum and average package is 6 lac/annum. Overall it is a good college in terms of academics. | Placements: College placement record is too good for CSE branch. The highest package was offered around 20 LPA and the average package was 6 LPA. There is a dedicated Placement cell of the college which provides support to the students out there.

The only drawback is the quantity of them. Students have very good air-conditioned classrooms and a hostel with shared rooms of 3 students. This college and hostel are well-equipped with a Wi-Fi facility and guards. | Teachers are well qualified and have a lot of knowledge. But some teachers are not good at teaching. They know but fail to deliver the information sometimes. The semester exams are difficult if students do not study regularly and study just before the exams. There are some subjects like power electronics, and LIC which cannot be covered a day before the exam. Although it is easy to pass but difficult to score. | It provides good placements and campus life is great. | The campus life is excellent. Though the campus is small, it is worth it to live here. Faculty members are supportive and students have a lot of events that held in this college regularly.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR is a renowned engineering college in the country. The infrastructure may not be that good, yet the faculty and the hostels are superb. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled which provides a very good resource to the infrastructure of the college. Besides that, the fact that the college is situated in Jamshedpur- an industrial hub of this country provides the much-needed exposure in the industrial domain to the students. As far as placements are concerned, the college can easily boast of top-notch placements in engineering be it in the manufacturing sector, IT, consulting or BFSI.

The temporary campus has an academic block where classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and projectors. Wi-Fi is available on campus. There are multiple labs and a library. Food quality is fine. There's a sports room on the campus. Medical facilities are available with an ambulance. | Teachers are all well qualified. Most of them have Ph.D.s in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are a bit tough, but the grading is based on a percentile system. The topper gets 100% and the others are graded on that basis. | Our college has good placements but not that good infrastructure. | I love mechanical things, and that's the reason I chose this branch. There are a lot of fests and events at the college. The campus has good connectivity with the airport and railway station, nearly 40 minutes away. The campus crowd is good.

College is working in a temporary campus but place acquisition for the new campus is complete and the construction has started. The faculty has good knowledge and is highly supportive of academics and extra-curricular activities. There is a separate area for all types of sports and art activities. The campus is in a good place and easily commutable.

There is a medical facility near our college for emergencies. | Teachers were good and supportive. Their teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was updated and had all new developments. | Our college has good teachers. | I opted for this course because I am interested in coding and software technologies. It is the best college. Our college conducts many extracurricular activities and games. Our college location is good in a pleasant area without any disturbances and is very safe.

Samsung, Intel and Deloitte are some MNC and more than 160 companies visited campus this year for placements. | The permanent campus has all the facilities in terms of academics and sports will be opened soon, hostel is okay as of now. The Wi-Fi facility is okay not very fast not very slow. The hostel rooms are very compact with 4 people in one room. The mess is very nice the only good thing in the campus of now 2 volleyball courts one football ground, medical room and majority popular sports like cricket football kabaddi volleyball and badminton are available . A badminton court is also there in the main building campus . | Majority of the faculty is good and are PhDs from iisc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay. The semester exams are not very easy to pass but the passing percentage is above 90. The students are getting industry ready in terms of language and behaviour but the technical skills are acquired by the student on his own mostly. Very few people get internships by college e.g. 3-4 people out of 38 in the branch. | Poor temporary campus, but good placements in past 3 years and the opening of new campus . | Campus crowd is less as of now, saavyaas a fest conducted by students of NIT Goa every year in the month of February which is our the biggest techno cultural fest .

The overall placements at my college are good keeping in mind the fact that it is one of the newest NITs. | Infrastructure is not up to par as compared to other new NITs, still, my institute has been able to provide qualitative facilities, even better than few other new NITs. There are proper Wi-fi connections with excellent speed. Departmental labs are equipped with all the necessary equipment that an engineering student needs. Classrooms are spacy and each class have a working projector. Even the medical facilities are excellent at my college and the Doctor visits thrice a week on weekdays, rest depending on emergency situations. | The faculty members are well educated and trained. Most of them are alumni of top institutes like IITs and IISERs. There teaching style suits everyone and every faculty focuses on the core development of students. One of the key points is that the faculty members are approachable and a student can approach them at any point of the day for any query of advise. | NIT Goa- where technology thrives. | NIT Goa has its own number of events like TECHNIVAL, which one of its the biggest event of the year. Every classroom has A/Cs according to the size of the classroom. Every branch in B.Tech and M.Tech has labs. The library has all the books a student can require. The number of books never fall short. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus. Food quality is not up to the mark. Non-veg food is provided for 2 days in a week. 2 people have to stay in 1 small room, and 4-6 people in a hall. Medical facilities are quite good. A doctor and a nurse are available in the college hours. NIT, Goa, participates in all the sports in All India Inter-NIT Competitions. | Professors were the best anyone could ask for. All are PhD holders from IITs and NITs and are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Maximum are associate professors. Their teaching quality is great. Some go beyond their limits to teach us. The best thing was cloud computing using Hadoop. I honestly want no improvement as the course is already providing its best for the students. NIT, Goa organises 2 annual fests known as Technical fest and Savyas fest. Campus crowd is not much high, and it is the best thing as every student and teacher knows each other, and it helps in better communication. SC and ST students get yearly scholarships of about 1.5 Lacs.

If your family income is less than 1 lacs, then you are fee will be less than Rs. 5,000 per semester. Our college organises a lot of fests. I wish it was offline, and the new campus was built fastly. Many get 35 lpa in campus placement, the lowest package we got is 4 LPA and the highest is 35 lpa.On an average, the percentage of placement is around 85 - 95%, A mechanical student can get almost all the roles from other companies from chemical to aerospace.

But there is a lack of experience in teaching. The course curriculum was quite old. I think it's not up to the industry-need. Wi-Fi, due to being BSNL, fluctuates a lot but is decent whenever required. But if the network goes down, it takes a lot of time to bring it up. This makes it difficult for the students to sometimes complete their assignments. | Teachers are very helpful, at least in the core branches. There is not much knowledge about non-core branches. The curriculum is well defined and is suited for competitive exams. Pass percentage every year is 90%+. So overall, all semesters are difficult; even just 3rd year maybe a bit challenging due to tight schedule of curriculum . | Good experience, good faculty for core branches and good placement records. | I had gotten a respectable 98.75 percentile in JEE during the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, I am a native of Goa. So, due to pandemic factors, I decided to take admission at NIT Goa. I would like a dedicated high-end lab in our college, at least for the core branches, where they could explore high-end technologies. The environment is very good. The climate is very good. The campus is very close to a major city. The institute provides internships at the National Institute of Oceanography as summer interns to academically excellent students. The curriculum is a bit strict so it's sometimes difficult to do part-time freelancing.

There must be interest made in subjects by teachers so that students can have an interest in subjects so that it will help in future opportunities. They know but fail to deliver the information sometimes. The semester exams are difficult if students do not study regularly and study just before the exams. The mess is very nice the only good thing in the campus of now 2 volleyball courts one football ground, medical room and majority popular sports like cricket football kabaddi volleyball and badminton are available . A badminton court is also there in the main building campus . | Majority of the faculty is good and are PhDs from iisc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay. There are proper Wi-fi connections with excellent speed. Departmental labs are equipped with all the necessary equipment that an engineering student needs. Classrooms are spacy and each class have a working projector. Even the medical facilities are excellent at my college and the Doctor visits thrice a week on weekdays, rest depending on emergency situations. | The faculty members are well educated and trained. Most of them are alumni of top institutes like IITs and IISERs. There teaching style suits everyone and every faculty focuses on the core development of students. Every classroom has A/Cs according to the size of the classroom. Every branch in B.Tech and M.Tech has labs. The library has all the books a student can require. The number of books never fall short. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus. Food quality is not up to the mark. Non-veg food is provided for 2 days in a week. 2 people have to stay in 1 small room, and 4-6 people in a hall. Medical facilities are quite good. A doctor and a nurse are available in the college hours. NIT, Goa, participates in all the sports in All India Inter-NIT Competitions. | Professors were the best anyone could ask for. All are PhD holders from IITs and NITs and are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Maximum are associate professors. Their teaching quality is great. Some go beyond their limits to teach us. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. | Totally satisfied with the faculty of NIT, Goa and the placements of 2018 batch. | I chose computer science because before taking admission, I looked at the curriculum, and it was interesting and future based. The best thing was cloud computing using Hadoop. I honestly want no improvement as the course is already providing its best for the students. NIT, Goa organises 2 annual fests known as Technical fest and Savyas fest. Campus crowd is not much high, and it is the best thing as every student and teacher knows each other, and it helps in better communication. If your income is above 1 lac and lower than 5 lacs, then you just have to pay Rs. 22,000 for 1 semester. If your family income is less than 1 lacs, then you are fee will be less than Rs. 5,000 per semester. Our college organises a lot of fests. I wish it was offline, and the new campus was built fastly. College Infrastructure: Hostels are far from college and are super good .All the hostels are at different places and they are good. Even the quality of food served is the superb.You can enjoy hostel life and you can chill out with your friends a lot because it is very freedom campus. | Academics: Professors are very good and helpful. You can contact them at any point. The curriculum is not that hard and one can pass even by studying for one day grading is relative so it's easy to pass. Easily you can get good marks of 8 CGPA which is enough from a NIT. | Placements: Placements are quite good. If I talk about percentage, nearly 90-95% of students get placed branch-wise. The highest placement record is in the CSE department. The maximum salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is around 7 LPA - 8 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 10 LPA and 11 LPA.

Wi-Fi facility is available in the college hostel for 2nd-year students. 1st-year hostels don't have Wi-Fi at present. Quality of food is good. Although we don't feel like home, we don't hate the food. | We have an excellent faculty who are very friendly in training us. The teaching quality is good and helps us in industrial aspects. Semester exams are easy if you start studying from start but if you start to study 12 hrs before the exams then you will get almost 7 CGPA. | Placements: The placements in are decent,since I am from mechanical, some of mechanical students got 1 crore package too .If you can work hard then you can get good CTC from the all companies. Many get 35 lpa in campus placement, the lowest package we got is 4 LPA and the highest is 35 lpa.On an average, the percentage of placement is around 85 - 95%, A mechanical student can get almost all the roles from other companies from chemical to aerospace.

Passing is not a big deal. However, you must secure 30 out of 100in end term exam. Teachers are excellent but they focus more on your higher studies and promote you to do so. | Placements: All the students who secured a CGPA of 7 and above are placed. In the 7th semester, 50% of students were placed. The highest package is 12 lakh and the lowest is 5 lakh. Companies hiring are Jindal, Cairn, Vedanta and Psu like BEL BPCL and IGL and there are several others.

And the average package for all branches lie in the range of 6-7 LPA. | Campus Life: The hostels are a little bit congested as 2 peoples live in a single room and 6 peoples in a hall. But there is a lack of experience in teaching. The course curriculum was quite old. I think it's not up to the industry-need. Students got placed because of the hard work and multisubject knowledge. | I am satisfied with the college because of cooperative people. | I opted for this course because I was always interested in mechanical engineering. It's very interesting to know about working of machine production and many more. Annual event called Saavyas is held for three days. The college is gigantic and has a good crowd. Food is decent and edible. | The faculty is the major bonus as being a new NIT, it is one of the best institutes to start a career. Because not like other premier institutes, you can meet the faculty personally to share your concern or problem you are facing in the subject. Even without its own permanent campus, it's ranked in top 75 engineering colleges in India (as per 2016 statistics). The faculty here insists on a project with every course which helps you gain practical experiences. | Institute of opportunities. | If you want to learn things then this a good and decent institute. Currently, the institute has tie-ups with NIO and Persistent Technologies, which offer internship programs to students. | The hostel's condition is decent. Wi-Fi, due to being BSNL, fluctuates a lot but is decent whenever required. But if the network goes down, it takes a lot of time to bring it up. This makes it difficult for the students to sometimes complete their assignments. | Teachers are very helpful, at least in the core branches. There is not much knowledge about non-core branches. The curriculum is well defined and is suited for competitive exams. Pass percentage every year is 90%+. So overall, all semesters are difficult; even just 3rd year maybe a bit challenging due to tight schedule of curriculum . | Good experience, good faculty for core branches and good placement records. | I had gotten a respectable 98.75 percentile in JEE during the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, I am a native of Goa. So, due to pandemic factors, I decided to take admission at NIT Goa. I was getting CSE in NIT Goa so I decided it was better to take the best possible branch if I was going to stay in Goa itself. I would like a dedicated high-end lab in our college, at least for the core branches, where they could explore high-end technologies. The environment is very good. The climate is very good. The campus is very close to a major city. The institute provides internships at the National Institute of Oceanography as summer interns to academically excellent students. The curriculum is a bit strict so it's sometimes difficult to do part-time freelancing.

In NIT Goa the 50+50+90 rule is being followed for semester exams from that, 50 marks are from internal evaluation, e.g., class tests, assignments, and viva.Overall, out of 200, the semester has been evaluated. | Placements: This year, i.e., 2024, 80% of the batch has been placed with the highest package of 46 LPA.Apart from this, from my department, the highest package of 12 LPA and an average package of 5.2 LPA have been placed.
