CSEET admit cards are out: the company secretary entrance is on 1, 3, 5 and 6 October

Admit cards for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET), October 2026 session are available on the institute's portal. The test is the entry point to the company secretary qualification, and for commerce students it is one of the few professional routes that can be started straight after Class 12.

The dates

The examination will be held on 1, 3, 5 and 6 October 2026, in offline, pen-and-paper mode at designated centres. This is only the second CSEET cycle conducted offline. The test spent several years as a remote-proctored online examination, and candidates who prepared using the online format should be rehearsing on paper.

Before you leave for the centre

• Download the hall ticket from the institute's portal using your registration credentials and date of birth.
• Check every field on it: exam date, reporting time, centre address, subject and your own name spelling. Errors are fixable now and not on the morning of the test.
• Candidates are given a reading window before the paper begins; use it to plan the order in which you attempt sections rather than starting at question one.
• Carry a photo identity document alongside the admit card. A hall ticket on its own is not usually sufficient.

What CSEET leads to

Clearing CSEET admits a candidate to the CS Executive programme, after which the Professional programme and practical training follow. It is a long qualification, but it is one of the cheaper professional routes in India and it does not require a prior degree. That is precisely why it is worth knowing about in Class 12 rather than in the final year of B.Com.
