Gujarat nursing round 4 is for government seats only: 463 vacancies, choices close at 10 am on 16 October
Gujarat’s nursing and allied-health admission committee has opened a fourth round covering only the 463 seats still vacant in government ANM and GNM schools, B.Sc. Nursing colleges, physiotherapy colleges and two other government colleges. Every earlier choice has been wiped, so candidates must give fresh consent and refill choices by 10 am on Friday, 16 October. Empty self-financed seats have been handed to the colleges to fill themselves.
The Admission Committee for Gujarat Professional Nursing and Allied Medical Educational Courses posted the schedule for its fourth online round on 13 October 2026. This round is for government institutions only. It fills the government seats that came free after round-3 reporting closed at noon on 10 October.

- All your old choices have been cancelled. To take part, log in, give online consent for round 4 and fill your choices again from scratch.
- Only government B.Sc. Nursing, physiotherapy, GNM, ANM, prosthetics and orthotics, and audiology and speech therapy seats will appear on the choice list.
- There is no limit on the number of choices. List them in order of preference, and only list colleges you would actually join. If you do not want BPT, do not fill any BPT choices.
- Everyone on the merit list can take part. That includes students who never got a seat, students who were allotted one but did not pay or report, and students who cancelled.
What is on offer: 463 government seats
According to the committee's vacancy list, 2,006 students reported to the 2,469 government seats allotted up to round 3. That leaves 463 vacant seats across 68 institutes:

- The physiotherapy colleges at Vadodara and Jamnagar have 27 vacant seats each, Ahmedabad has 21 and Dahod has 20.
- The biggest gaps at ANM schools are at Bavla (13 of 20 seats vacant), Aliyabada in Jamnagar (12), and Palanpur and Bharuch (10 each).
- Among GNM schools, the Civil Hospital school at Asarwa, Ahmedabad has 12 vacant seats, Mehsana has 11 and Surat Mandvi has 10. Among B.Sc. Nursing colleges, Dharpur has 11 and Rajkot has 9.
Read this before you give consent
- If you already have a confirmed seat (fee paid and original documents submitted) and you are happy with it, do not give consent. You do not need to take part.
- If you give consent and round 4 gives you a new seat, your old seat is cancelled automatically and you lose any claim to it.
- If round 4 gives you nothing, your earlier confirmed seat stays.
- If you gave consent by mistake, you can log in and withdraw it until choice filling closes.
Self-financed seats: now with the colleges
The committee is not running another round for self-financed institutes. It has handed their vacant seats to the institutes to fill themselves under Rule 17, and it has published the list. If you want a self-financed GNM, ANM, B.Sc. Nursing or allied-health seat now, you will have to approach the college directly.
What to do now: open the government vacancy list and choose only the colleges you would really join. Then log in, give consent and save your new choices well before 10 am on Friday. If you already hold a confirmed seat and want to keep it, do nothing.
