The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board has named 1,063 candidates for the first round of document verification for 870 PSI (Wireless) and Technical Operator posts. Checks run on 27 and 28 October, and call letters open on OJAS at 2 pm on 22 October.

The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board (GPRB) has published the list of candidates called for the first phase of document verification under Advertisement No. GPRB/202526/2. The recruitment covers 172 Police Sub Inspector (Wireless) posts and 698 Technical Operator posts, 870 vacancies in all, and 1,063 candidates have qualified for this round. The notice is dated 17 October 2026.

Cut-off marks for this round
The list is drawn up on total marks, which means written marks plus any extra marks allowed under the rules, such as sports or widow marks.
| Category | Cut-off for men | Cut-off for women | Total qualified |
|---|---|---|---|
| General | 100.500 | 81.000 | 707 |
| EWS | 80.750 | Not listed | 88 |
| SEBC | 80.500 | Not listed | 193 |
| SC | 82.00 | 123.000 (see note) | 54 |
| ST | 81.250 | Not listed | 21 |
Note: the women's SC figure is for one candidate who took the age relaxation and so could not be counted in the General list. Reserved-category candidates who did not take an age relaxation and scored at or above the General cut-off have been placed in the General list.
Points the notice flags
- Extra marks must be backed by a certificate. If you claimed sports or widow marks and cannot show a valid certificate at verification, those marks will be cancelled.
- CCTV review is still going on. The board is checking recordings from every exam classroom, and any candidate found to have used unfair means will lose their candidature.
- More candidates may be called later. This is the first phase only. The board says it will call more candidates if needed.
- The document checklist is not out yet. The board says it will publish the list of documents to bring shortly.
What to do now
- Check whether your name is on the men's or women's list linked from the notice on gprb.gujarat.gov.in.
- Download your call letter from ojas.gujarat.gov.in after 2 pm on 22 October. It will carry your date, time and venue.
- Start gathering originals and photocopies now: your educational certificates, caste or EWS certificate, and any sports or other certificate behind extra marks.
- Watch the GPRB site for the document checklist and match your file to it before 27 October.
Earlier this month the board also released marks for the motor transport cadre; that story is here.
