Haryana board supplementary exams start 1 October; admit cards are out
Class 10 and 12 supplementary examinations run from 1 to 22 October across 140 centres, in a single afternoon shift. Nearly 39,537 students are enrolled, and the admit card came out today.
Haryana's board has released admit cards for the Class 10 and Class 12 supplementary examinations, issued on 22 September. The examinations run from 1 to 22 October 2026.
The details that decide your morning
- Single shift, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm: an afternoon examination, not a morning one.
- 140 examination centres across the state.
- Roughly 39,537 students are enrolled: 25,646 boys and 13,891 girls.
- Download using your roll number or registration number on the board's portal.
What to carry
The board requires a printed colour admit card together with an original identity document. A black-and-white printout or a copy on a phone is not what has been asked for. Candidates should reach the centre 30 minutes before the examination begins.
A word to the 39,537
A supplementary examination is not a lesser examination and a pass through it is not a lesser pass. The certificate does not record which attempt cleared which subject, and neither will any college admitting you or any employer hiring you. What it does record is that you finished.
Three weeks is enough time to move one or two subjects if the work is narrow and specific. Take the syllabus for the paper you failed, find the three or four chapters that carry the most marks, and work only those. A general re-read of the whole book is the least efficient thing you can do with the time you have left.
