Scholarships
IIIT Trichy Details
Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli, which was founded in 2013, does not provide scholarships on behalf of the IIIT Trichy to its students. However, students can apply for various state and central government scholarships to get academic support. There are separate scholarships for students belonging to SC/ST or economically weak sections from the state as well as the central government. Apart from this, IIIT Trichy scholarships are also offered based on merit or academic performance, through merit cum means scholarship by the state or central government to outstanding performers. Students, before applying for the scholarships, must pay attention to the eligibility criteria required by the provider. For SC/ST category scholarships, a student’s family income must not exceed Rs 4.5 lakhs per annum, and in the case of merit-based scholarships, a certain score of GPA or percentage will be required to ensure that the IIIT Trichy student is deserving of the scholarship, which is based on academic performance. The scholarships are not given to all individuals who apply, but to all those who submit the needed documents and meet the eligibility criteria set by the provider. IIIT Trichy Scholarships were introduced to provide aid and financial support to students who are economically weak but have the potential to achieve great things in academic studies.
