About VIT Vellore

VIT Business School (VITBS) in Vellore was established in 1994 as a constituent unit of VIT Vellore. It is accredited by the ACBSP. VIT Vellore, formally Vellore Institute of Technology, is a private university recognised by the UGC, and its flagship courses are BTech and MBA.

VITBS offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in business management, including BBA, MBA and PhD. The fee for BBA is Rs 90,000 per annum. Undergraduate admission is based on merit, while PG and PhD admission is based on entrance exam scores. Merit scholarships are available.

The business school has a placement cell for final-year students. Facilities include hostels, a gym, an auditorium, banks, ATMs, sports amenities, transport facilities and Wi-Fi.

Apply online with Class 12 marks for the BBA, or a degree plus CAT, XAT, MAT or VITBEE for the MBA. Shortlisted MBA candidates are interviewed and then pay the fee on campus.

VIT, Vellore, has many branches to choose from for one's career. The placements and packages are good. Students are allowed to go for an internship, either from college or personally.
