Example - the dance club is very good here. IEEE chapter is also doing well. Talking about the curriculum, VIT offers FFCS that is Fully Flexible Credit System (i.e. we can choose our time of classes, our faculty, our academic building, and lots more.) that is not offered in any of the colleges in India apart from VIT. It’s purely an American system for which VIT utilizes international accreditation as an important means to benchmark its programs against the best in the world and assure that they meet the quality standards established by global professional organizations. Almost everyone gets a job. The salaries vary from rupees 3lakhs to 20lakhs. If you're decent, you should get 4-5lakhs easily.

The placements in our college, especially the last year saw a great increase in the number of students placed, as well as the highest salary or super dream offer. As in all the colleges, mechanical branch gets the least packages out of every branch. But in VIT, mechanical students also got an average of 4-5 Lacs. Last year, our college saw 7700+ placements. The highest offered salary was 8 Lacs and the lowest was 4 Lacs (for mechanical). Companies that visited here were Ford, Ashok Leyland, IT Construction, Bajaj, TVS, Hero, Maruti, etc. Mostly, students were placed in core companies. Around 40-50% students got an internship. | The infrastructure is very good. We have digital labs which are centrally air-conditioned and sports facilities are also good. Every sport is given equal importance. Also, our university has won many trophies in volleyball, basketball, swimming, hockey, cricket, etc. Food available is somewhat South Indian, but it is okay. No issues. The infrastructure of our college is one of the top infrastructures of the colleges in India. | We have full freedom in terms of curriculum. We follow the FFCS system, in which we have full freedom to choose any subject in any of the semesters. Also, we can choose the faculty we wish to study with. All the faculty members are here from IITs or NITs. Some are scientists and some are from foreign universities. There is one teacher for every 5 students in mechanical. | VIT- one of the private colleges. | The college also allows 9 pointers to get attendance exemption, which means they do not need to fulfil the 75 percent attendance criteria. The hostel rooms are divided as 1,2,3,4,6 bedded and available as A/C or non-A/C. The students can also register for sports such as badminton, TT, squash and the facilities like gym and Olympic sized swimming pool. The college has a strict biometric attendance failing which the student has to pay heavy fines. The on-time inside the campus is 8:30 for freshers.

I am about to attend placements in the upcoming years, but it has started training from now itself, and it is going good. All classes are informative and useful. We are also attending soft skill classes now. | Our college has a good infrastructure. In the hostel, there is a good environment, which is helpful to concentrate on the course. The hostel facilities are good and hygienic. Mess food is worth the money. | Experienced faculty members are available in every course. Most of them teach in an application-oriented way, which is very helpful to understand the course and easy to apply it practically. | Our college provides a good hostel facility.

Among 140 students (17th batch), almost 70% of the students got placed in top companies. Almost 30% of the students are interested in higher studies (MBA) in VIT as well as abroad. The starting salary offered will be Rs. 20,000 to 25,000 per month. Companies like Oppo, BNP, Federal Bank, Capgemini, visited here for recruitment and selected the best candidates. Roles of a business administration, HR, sales, marketing, are offered. The salary package starts from 2.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Many students go for internships in Chennai. | I can't find any problem with the infrastructure. You can expect all the facility there. Wi-Fi with a high-speed network is provided here. There are smart classrooms. There are good hostel facilities. I don't know much about the hostel because I'm not a hosteller. There is a vegetarian and non-vegetarian facility. They are providing snacks every evening. | Professors here are well qualified and the best experienced. I cannot find any shortage with learning as well as teaching. The course is relevant to the curriculum and future endeavours, and it makes students work in the industry as talented. There are industrial visit sections. It helps students to understand more like they visit the things related to business and industry works to know what they are actually studying. | A chance to develop and change yourself. It is like heaven. Proud to be a part of VIT. | I'm interested in business, so I have chosen BBA. The best thing about the course is business knowledge. Celebrating all festivals and Pongal celebration will be a highlight. Around 30,000 students are studying here. VIT has a huge campus, and the campus is spread over 250 acres. Every student should complete an extracurricular activity as part of course completion. I have chosen NSS and enjoyed it. Yearly they are providing Rs. 10,000 scholarship for eligible students.

Teacher is quite good, semester syllabus is very hard . | Vellore institute of technology . | Admission is on the basis of your vitee rank.

The placement cell is there on our campus for handling all the placement interviews and aptitude training workshops. The highest package is 1 Crore per annum, and the lowest is 30 LPA. And the average package is 50 LPA. Top recruiting companies are like Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc. About 80-90% of the students get a chance of an internship, and most of them are aware of the real-life problems, so they meet the requirements of the company and get enrolled in the company. | Hostel facilities are well furnished, and all necessary equipment like an almirah, wardrobe, table, bed, and chair are there. Classrooms are also loaded with the facilities that are required, and they keep us available as soon as possible. Food quality is impressive as they give both veg and non-veg options on the menu. Games and sports are there in bulk, most of the international player comes from this college only. | Teachers are very supportive and helpful. They help in every circumstance of life. Also, the course curriculum is well and good as compared to other private institutions. Semester exams are a little more difficult but easy to crack. About 70-80% students get more than 9.5 CGPA. And a rest above 8 CGPA. | VIT - Vellore, Tamil Nadu review. | Campus life is very engaging, and we generally have to go through the workshop every day with the industry experts. My experience in this college is awesome, and I want other students to study here as the college offers an overseas study medium for students who pursue a master's degree. The campus crowd is full of engineers and innovators. Fest is held generally in the month of December, at the end of our semester.

Placements were pretty good, to be honest, in my year compared to the previous year or any other year before. It may be due to the dying economic development of West Bengal as a whole, but it is what it is. The main recruiters of the college are TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) and Infosys. About 90% of the students got placed through campus placement opportunities. The role given to a fresher by these IT companies are mostly that of a system engineer. Salary offered by TCS was 3.36 LPA and that by Infosys was 3.26 LPA. | If you are looking to have excellent infrastructure for your 4 years in college, you'd better keep this college in your wishlist. It is a fully residential college. The condition of the hostels is really good. The only good thing about the hostels is that they offer high speed dedicated internet connection for every student. There is barely some availability of Wi-Fi connectivity within the college campus. The classrooms are nothing better than your school classrooms (maybe even worse). The labs have all the necessary equipment but their condition isn't that great. You get to have free medical checkups being a student of the college. Quite a few sports are played in the college, but it has to be mostly by your enthusiasm. College authorities don't support sports as much as they should. The library is not that great, but it should suffice your needs. | The college being established in 1998, has some of the most experienced faculty members in the state. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable people. They have a very organized and well-practiced teaching methods. The notes provided by the faculty members is going to make your life so much easier. The student to faculty ratio is about 6:1. The industry exposure provided by the college was average. The course curriculum was obviously useful but I feel there are a few unnecessary subjects within the curriculum. | Faculty is the best part of this college. Also excellent infrastructures and facilities. | I would recommend this college because of the people around which this college is built. You may not like it in the beginning but you are going to cherish the 4 years you spend here for the rest of your life as every pass out of this college does. At the end of the day, it all comes down to how hard-working you yourself were to have a successful 4 years of engineering course. You don't need to be proud of your college. Make your college proud to have you.

Placements in all the branches are good, but if you belong to CSE then it is excellent. Placement in mechanical engineering is also good, and almost all the students are going to be placed. Around 90% of the students can get placed. Many companies are offering dream offers, and there is no boundary to mechanical students, they learned coding basics and also their subjects well. They can appear for IT companies and core companies also. There are many peoples from our branch who got dream offers of 13 to 15 LPA by Flipkart and Amazon and some also got placed in TCS. Even the salary packages offered are good. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5.3 LPA. Companies like Volvo, Flipkart, Amazon, TCS, VISA, and many-core mechanical companies visited our campus. | In VIT, college life is too good and we have proper labs. You can find workshops and labs related to all the courses and the classrooms are good and there are many libraries are because it is a huge campus. We have a central library. Wi-Fi facility is also provided all over the campus and can access Wi-Fi in hostels and in college also there is no issue regarding that. The food quality in the hostel is very good and Wi-Fi is also available. We also have CCTV cameras installed for security purposes. A canteen is also available, and there are doctors 24 hours. Students have very good opportunities in sports and games. If you visit the campus you will feel like I should stay here and I should play here. | All the faculty members are holding doctorates. They must be owning their degrees from IIT or foreign world reputed universities. Teachers are helpful and helping students to grow their skills and improve knowledge. Their way of teaching is also good. Students also can ask and visit their cabins. | I am satisfied with the college as it has good facilities. | You know that VIT is a well-reputed university and a number one private university in India according to NIRF ranking. The crowd is well-managed on the campus and everything is very good. A lot of festivals are celebrated here and people from all over India and other countries come here. So can see a lot of cultures, festivals, and languages. Scholarships are also provided according to marks and rank in the VITEEE exam.

90% of students get placed nearly every year with an average package of 15 lacs. The highest last year was 1 crore, and the lowest was from TCS and Infosys for 3.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Nvidia, UBS, Verizon, etc. From my course, 80% of the students got internships nearly, and I personally got into the Lupin Pharma manufacturing facility while others got into BPCL, IOCL, etc. | Wi-Fi is very good and at a decent speed. There are timing issues with Wi-Fi, but you can use a hotspot or proxy for late-night studying. The library is a state-of-the-art library and has three floors full of books, along with a website from where you can find the book you want and the exact shelf. There are cafes, canteens, etc., inside, as well as a small clinic that is in operation all the time with an in-house shuttle and ambulance. | The teachers are highly learned and, in my course especially, have done their doctorates from top IITs and NITs. The teaching quality, especially in the core subjects, was very nice. The course curriculum is relevant enough for us to sustain ourselves in the industry, but the projects we do are more important as they give us a better perspective and our niche. | VIT Vellore is the greatest college.
