The Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2026, the gateway to BE, BTech and BPharm seats in the state’s government and private colleges, drew more than 2.65 lakh candidates to its 29 March sitting. Here is how the season unfolded.

- 29 March 2026: exam held across the state
- 13 April: final answer key released
- 4 May: results declared on gseb.org, the same morning as the Class 12 results
- 12 June: ACPC published the provisional merit list
What the scorecard shows
Each scorecard lists the candidate’s name, seat number and group, subject-wise marks, total marks obtained against the paper total, and the percentile rank. Results are retrieved from gseb.org with the six-digit seat number.
How the merit list is built
ACPC does not rank on the GUJCET score alone. The merit list weights Class 12 theory marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics or biology against the GUJCET percentile, which is why a strong board result matters as much as the entrance test.
This year’s admission round has since closed, with ICT and computer science seats at the top campuses filling within the first few hundred ranks.
