GSEB board exam 2027 date

The only 2027 dates the board has published are in its school activity calendar for 2026-27, a letter sent to district education officers for every school. It lists these exams:

The calendar says these dates follow if the government makes no change, and any change will apply. That is not a timetable. It does not say which paper falls on which day, and it does not split Std 10, Std 12 General and Std 12 Science.

From 21 October 2026, 25 February 2027 is 127 days away. Maha Shivratri (6 March 2027) and Ramzan Eid (10 March 2027), both public holidays in the calendar, fall inside that window.

GSEB time table 2027 for Class 10 and Class 12 (Science, General): is it out?

No. On 21 October 2026 the board's notice list on gsebeservice.com carried no 2027 timetable for Std 10 or Std 12. The newest exam notices were for the GSOS (open school) November-December 2026 exams.

Last year is the reference, nothing more. The board's press note of 8 November 2025 announced the main exam from 26 February 2026. An updated timetable later moved some papers, and the exams ran to 18 March 2026 for SSC and General, and 16 March 2026 for Science, as the result booklets confirm.

Std 10 (SSC), 2026: 26 February (first languages) to 18 March 2026 (Social Science), 10:00 am to 1:15 pm. Science was on 28 February, Basic Mathematics on 6 March, Standard Mathematics on 9 March and English on 11 March.

Std 12 General, 2026: 26 February to 18 March 2026, in a morning slot (10:30 am to 1:45 pm) and an afternoon slot (3:00 pm to 6:15 pm).

Std 12 Science, 2026: Physics on 26 February, Chemistry on 28 February, Mathematics on 9 March and Biology on 16 March, 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

For "class 12 science" or "commerce" time table searches, the honest answer is that the board has published only the combined window above. The real timetable will be a circular on gseb.org with separate sheets for SSC, HSC General and HSC Science, as in 2026. Treat any chart with exact 2027 paper dates before that as unofficial.

GSEB exam form 2027: school registration, dates and fee

What is official so far. The board's press note dated 17 October 2026 says the process for filling the 2027 board exam forms "will start in the coming days" and that school registration and teacher registration must be completed first. It gave these dates:

• School registration: from 17 October 2026 on schoolreg.gseb.org.
• Teacher registration: from 17 October 2026 on teacherreg.gseb.org.
• Annual inspection report: 17 October 2026 to 17 November 2026 on ir.gseb.org.

Students do not fill this step. Your school does.

The student exam form dates, fees and late fee for 2027 are not out. Here is last year's sequence, for the March 2026 exam:

• 7 November 2025: press note says forms open online from 12:00 noon on 7 November 2025 until 12:00 midnight on 6 December 2025 on gseb.org, at the regular fee.
• Extended to 10 December 2025, then forms with a late fee from 11 December 2025 to 22 December 2025.
• Late fee stages: ₹250 for 11 to 14 December, ₹300 for 15 to 18 December and ₹350 for 19 to 22 December 2025. The board said no student gets a late fee exemption.
• A later note moved the last date for Std 10 and Std 12 General to 24 December 2025. Std 12 Science stayed at 22 December 2025.

Fee for the 2026 exam:

HSC Science added ₹130 per practical subject. Girl students and divyang candidates were exempt from the regular exam fee, but not from the late fee, and still had to fill the form.

GSEB paper pattern and blueprint for Class 10 and 12

The paper pattern is where the 2026 documents are clear.

Std 10 (SSC). Board subjects carry an 80-mark paper plus 20 marks of school internal assessment. Vocational subjects have a 30-mark board paper.

Std 12 Science. Every subject paper has two parts. Part A is 50 multiple-choice questions on an OMR sheet for 50 marks in 60 minutes. Part B is descriptive, for 50 marks. Computer Studies theory (331) is one OMR paper with 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks in 120 minutes.

Blueprint and question bank. On 21 October 2026 the board's Model Paper and Pari roop (blueprint) page showed "No records available" for both Std 10 and Std 12. The board does post past question papers for Std 9, 10, 12 General and 12 Science on its Question Papers page. The subject-wise question bank for Std 9 to 12 at questionbank.gseb.org is a school login: schools sign in with the index number and password they use for online forms, so ask your school.

GSEB passing marks and grading

The board's 2026 result booklets give one rule for both classes. Marks convert to grades like this:

To qualify in a subject you need at least grade D, and to get the Secondary Certificate you need at least D in all subjects. Grades E1 and E2 mean you must improve through later attempts. The passing standard for differently abled candidates is 20%.

GSEB supplementary exam (purak pariksha)

Both Std 10 and Std 12 have a supplementary exam after the result. In 2026 it ran from 11 June 2026 to 20 June 2026, announced on 12 May 2026. The board said students who failed or were absent in one or more subjects, and students who passed but want a better score, could appear. The board's booklets add that every subject can be taken for improvement and the better of the two results counts ("Best of Two").

For SSC the online form ran from 8 May 2026 to 15 May 2026, 5:00 pm, on the schools' login. The supplementary result came out on 3 July 2026 at 11:00 am. In SSC, 30,845 of 93,321 candidates qualified (33.05%).

GUJCET 2027 for Science students

GUJCET is the common entrance test for degree engineering and degree or diploma pharmacy for Std 12 Science students in groups A, B and AB. No GUJCET 2027 notice was on the board's pages on 21 October 2026. For reference, GUJCET 2026:

• Date: Sunday, 29 March 2026, announced in the 8 November 2025 press note.
• Form: 16 December 2025 to 30 December 2025 on gseb.org and gujcet.gseb.org, with the form published on 15 December 2025.
• Fee: ₹350 through SBIePay, by card, net banking or at any SBI branch.
• Pattern: Physics and Chemistry in one paper, 40 questions each, 80 marks, 120 minutes; Biology 40 questions, 40 marks, 60 minutes; Mathematics 40 questions, 40 marks, 60 minutes. All multiple choice on OMR sheets, in Gujarati, English and Hindi.
• Result: 4 May 2026, with the Std 12 result. 1,32,319 of 1,36,071 registered candidates appeared.

GSEB result date: what last year looked like

• 2026: Std 12 Science, General and GUJCET results on 4 May 2026 at 10:00 am; Std 10 on 6 May 2026 at 8:00 am.
• Earlier: 5 May 2025 and 9 May 2024 for Std 12 Science.

The 2026 numbers from the board's booklets:

• Std 10 SSC: 7,56,392 regular candidates appeared; 83.86% passed.
• Std 12 Science: 1,11,090 regular candidates appeared; 84.33% passed.
• Std 12 General: 92.71% of regular candidates passed.

Results appeared on gseb.org by seat number. For 2027 the board has published no result date.

What to do now

• Ask your school whether its registration and inspection report are done, because form filling depends on them.
• Pay the exam fee in the regular window. Late fee was ₹250 to ₹350 last year.
• Use the prelims (18 to 28 January 2027) as practice for the pattern.
