GPSC Class 1 and 2 final result (Advt 47/2023-24): 296 recommended for the Gujarat Administrative Service and Civil Services, general cut-off 441.50 out of 1,000
GPSC has declared the final result of its 2023-24 combined Class 1 and 2 recruitment. All 293 advertised posts in the Gujarat Administrative Service, the Gujarat Civil Services and the Municipal Chief Officers service are filled, and three more candidates are picked against future vacancies. The general cut-off is 441.50 out of 1,000, there is no waiting list, and 102 women are selected.

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has published the final result of advertisement 47/2023-24, its combined recruitment for the Gujarat Administrative Service, Class 1, the Gujarat Civil Services, Class 1 and Class 2, and the Gujarat State Municipal Chief Officers' Service, Class 2. The notice is dated 6 November 2026 and is on GPSC's results page.
This closes a process that began with the main written exam from 20 to 25 October 2024. Interviews ran from 23 April to 10 September 2026.

The result in numbers
- 296 names are on the list recommended to the state government. All 293 advertised posts are filled, and three more candidates (two with disabilities and one ex-serviceman) are selected against posts that will fall vacant later.
- 102 women are selected, against 94 posts reserved for women.
- 63 candidates from the EWS, SEBC, SC and ST categories scored at or above the general cut-off without using any category relaxation, so they are placed on unreserved posts.
- Before finalising the list, GPSC called 425 candidates to opt out between 27 and 30 October 2026, and 46 withdrew. The result was then worked out without them.
- The marks of 1,324 interviewed candidates who were not selected are printed in Part II of the PDF.
- GPSC has not prepared a waiting list.
Cut-offs, out of 1,000
Merit counts the main written exam (900 marks) and the interview (100 marks). Where two candidates tie, the older one is placed higher, which is why some cut-offs carry a birth date.
| Category | Cut-off | Posts filled |
|---|---|---|
| General | 441.50 | 81 |
| General, women | 437.00 (born on or before 26 January 1996) | 36 |
| EWS | 440.00 (born on or before 1 September 1996) | 59 (23 plus 36 on merit) |
| EWS, women | 432.25 | 14 |
| SEBC | 433.50 | 80 (55 plus 25 on merit) |
| SEBC, women | 427.00 | 27 |
| SC | 439.00 | 14 |
| SC, women | 423.50 | 6 |
| ST | 371.75 (born on or before 13 July 1995) | 28 |
| ST, women | 363.50 | 11 |
The ex-servicemen cut-off is 316.75. For candidates with disabilities it is 378.00 in Group A, 344.50 in Group B, 411.50 in Group C and 327.25 in Group D. The highest total on the list is 520.25.
What happens next
A place on this list does not by itself give you a right to a job. The government will appoint you only after its own checks, and the post you get depends on your merit rank, the preferences you gave and the posts still open. GPSC also says the result may change for candidates whose marks are being rechecked, and parts of it remain subject to cases pending in the Gujarat High Court.
If you sat the mains and want your marks rechecked, GPSC will put out a separate notice with the steps and the fee. Watch gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in for it.
What to do now: open the PDF, search for your seat number in Part I (selected) or Part II (not selected), and note your written and interview marks. If you were selected, keep your original certificates ready for the department's verification. For every GPSC final result this year, see our GPSC result 2026 tracker.
