GPSC interviews from 4 to 7 November: 48 candidates for 7 Class 1 skill training posts, and 78 cleared for Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil)

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has a full interview week coming up. Its interview programme dated 30 October 2026 lists three recruitments between Wednesday, 4 November and Saturday, 7 November, all at GPSC Bhavan, Sector 10-A, Gandhinagar. Two more notices, from 30 October and 2 November, move other recruitments along.

Interviews start at 11 am. Your date is fixed by your interview number in the detailed programmes for Advt 99, Advt 105 and Advt 139. GPSC says every listed candidate must come at the reporting time with original documents and one self-attested set, even if the physical call letter has not reached them by post.

Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil): 78 cleared for interview

For Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil), Class 2, in the state's municipal corporations (Advt 124/2025-26), GPSC had called 156 candidates for application scrutiny on 25 June 2026, after the prelim papers of 3 and 10 May. Its eligibility list of 2 November clears 78 of them for the interview. Two seat numbers that had been marked ineligible on 3 October were restored after candidates' representations, through a corrigendum dated 30 October. Interview dates are not out yet.

Gujarat Maritime Board trainee drive closed with no one selected

The special recruitment for Graduate Engineer Trainee, Class 2, at the Gujarat Maritime Board, reserved for persons with disabilities (Advt 32/2026-27), has ended without a selection. In a notice dated 2 November, GPSC says no candidate in the prelim of 10 May and 3 October reached the minimum marks set by its order of 4 July 2025, so nobody qualified for scrutiny and the recruitment is complete.

What to do now: if you are on one of this week's lists, check your interview number and reporting time, and pack originals of every certificate the advertisement asked for, with one self-attested photocopy set. If you are a Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil) candidate, look for your seat number in the list and watch gpsc.gujarat.gov.in for the interview schedule.
