GPSC answer keys out for Deputy Director of Horticulture and Stenographer Grade I: object by 7 and 6 November, with proof, not AI answers
GPSC has published the provisional key for the Deputy Director of Horticulture, Class 1 prelim (13/2026-27): objections open at 11 am on 4 November and close at 4 pm on 7 November. The Gujarati Stenographer Grade I main exam key takes objections until 4 pm on 6 November. Each objection costs ₹100 and must carry real references; answers from AI tools alone will not be considered.

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has put up two provisional answer keys on its answer key page. If you took either exam, this is your one chance to challenge an answer before the key is final.

The two keys
| Exam | Held on | Key published | Objections |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deputy Director of Horticulture, Class 1 (13/2026-27), prelim, 200 questions | 18 August 2026 | 3 November 2026 | 11 am, 4 November to 4 pm, 7 November |
| Private Secretary / Stenographer Grade I (Gujarati), Class 2 (1, 53 and 133/2024-25, 44/2025-26), main, 40 questions | 28 September 2026 | 2 November 2026 | 11 am, 3 November to 4 pm, 6 November |
The stenographer key covers four advertisements together, including the post at Gujarat Water Resources Development Corporation (GWRDC).
How to object
- Use only the online objection system. Objections by hand, post or email are not considered.
- Pay ₹100 for each objection through the link. You can submit only after paying, the receipt counts as final submission, and the fee is not refunded.
- Quote the question and option numbers of the master question paper published with the key, not the numbers in your own booklet series.
- Your suggested answer must match what you marked on your answer sheet. If it does not, the objection is dropped.
- Upload a supporting document. An objection without one is not considered.
The new line about AI
Both keys now say that objections must be backed by authentic references or documentary evidence, and that objections based only on AI, GPT or similar tools, without supporting evidence, will not be considered. For calculation, statistics or reasoning questions, you must show the working or the logic behind your answer.
What to do now: check your responses against the key, list the questions you are sure about, and find a textbook, government publication or official source for each before you pay. Don't pay ₹100 for a hunch. Upcoming GPSC dates are in our GPSC calendar 2026.
